I Broke my Neck in 1986

Question: How ?

Answer: I was messing around on some railings and fell head first into 2 foot of water

I ended up with a broken neck with crushed Vertebrae at Level C4, 5 and a crushed Spinal Cord.

C3, 4, 5, 6 have been wired together (medical terms = Fused)

I am Paralysed from the chest down I have no normal use of my hands or my arms,,

movement and certain feeling sensations are very limited in both.

(medical terms = Quadriplegic or Tetraplegic incomplete)

I won’t go into the rest.

To Type I use a stick in my mouth with a pencil rubber on the end,

after going to College in 1993 for a 5 month Computer course I passed my 1^st & 2^nd level in City and Guilds

But could not get 2^nd level in Word Processing because I could only type approximately 12 words a minute,

( probably more now)

If I need the shift or control key I use the knuckle of my little finger on my left hand.

For a Mouse I use a Trackball (it’s like an upside down mouse with a big ball in the middle & a big button each side)

To play Insane I use a Joystick this is stuck to a table in front of me

So this means I cannot type with the stick in my mouth while I play

Typing in game I don’t do much of because I have to stop driving to do so

I can type using the knuckle again which is very slow but not reliable which will explain some spelling errors
